The Governor French Academy, Inc. participates in the Illinois Junior Academy of Science. The Science Fair is held annually on the first Saturday in February. This fair is open to all Governor French students and is required of selected students. Those students in the seventh, ninth and eleventh grades, as well as students in the eighth, tenth and twelfth grades who did not participate in the Science Fair the previous year, are expected to complete and submit a project. This assignment includes an experiment, a written report, an oral presentation prior to the fair and a display at the Science Fair. For more information on the requirements of the project, refer to the Illinois Junior Academy of Science website. |
