Advanced Placement (A.P.) classes are designed by the College Board, Inc. to serve as surrogates for college classes in an American college or university. Governor French Academy does not enter the A.P. designation on a student´s transcript unless the student has completed the College Board-approved A.P. curriculum for each class and taken the A.P. examination in May.
Advanced Placement courses are currently offered at the Academy in the following subjects: Biology, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Chemistry, Physics B, and Physics C. Other courses may be offered subject to student interest and faculty availability.
