Academics: Placement

The Governor French Academy is recognized by the State of Illinois as a non-graded school.

Student placement is based on skill, talent and maturity as well as age. As a result, a student may be placed in a classroom other than the one suggested by the guidelines listed below. A student may also move between Forms anytime throughout the school year based on conditions that the Academy and the parents believe to be in the best interest of the student. All moves are subject to a faculty vote. The Governor French Academy offers the following classroom divisions.
