Lower School Science Courses
Science instruction in the Lower School combines classroom lessons with exploratory sessions in the school's Science Lab facility.
Upper School Science Courses
Science placement in the Upper School is based primarily upon a student's level in mathematics. In four years of high school, a student will generally complete at least 6 of the following courses:
Laboratory Science (an interdisciplinary science course)
Biology I
Biology II
Advanced Placement Biology
Chemistry I
Chemistry II
Advanced Placement Chemistry
Physics I
Physics II
Advanced Placement Physics
(B or C)

"Advanced Placement" status in a course requires completion of the appropriate Advanced Placement curriculum as set forth by The College Board. Advanced Placement students participate in the College Board Advanced Placement examinations each May.
