Governor French Academy was the first of the Belleville High Schools to join Belleville Junior Main Street. This organization is an auxiliary of Belleville Main Street, Inc. which serves the Belleville downtown district in a wide variety of community service activities. These have included, but are not limited to, the Halloween Festival, the Mayor's Ball, and the Gingerbread Walk.
The Academy finds that Belleville Junior Main Street is an excellent way for graduating seniors to document their community service achievements on their college applications.
